Long before dressing up to save the world or giving chemistry lessons, Brie Larson was a child actor.

“Most of my fears were about the public nature of this role,” she said. “Knowing that this film would mean my face would be on billboards around the world was overwhelming to me. I still worry about not being able to do the things I love, like walking around the airport alone and people watching, but I think the power the film holds is greater than my fears.
