MANILA, Philippines—San Miguel guard Jericho Cruz and his wife Mossah have been making people laugh online with their couple videos and online banter.
Cruz said the trending videos with his wife are just a snapshot of his family life.
“It’s just a sign of respect and how much I love my wife. That’s the way it is for me and like I say, I’m a loving man, I’m a loving father to my kids and I love my family,” Cruz told Inquirer Sports during the Beermen’s close win over Terrafirma , 113-110 at Ninoy.Aquino Stadium on Wednesday.
“When I’m not playing basketball, I’m with my family. They are my priority and they give me energy. I barely go out. Most of the time when I go on vacation, they are with me. Even if I have games in Guam, they are there.

While Mossah and Jericho document most of their family adventures with their two children, they also post videos of some of their couple pranks and challenges, like the “husband vs. wife mobility test” series.

Cruz said he is teased in comments about his wife, but he is not afraid to admit that Mossah is indeed his boss.
“When my wife makes a joke to me, fans online say, ‘angas-angas sa court, pagdating sa bahay tiklop sa asawa,'” Jericho said. “Well, totoo naman huh. Kahit sino naman siguro, ‘di ba?’

Most recently, Mossah and Jericho made fans laugh on Instagram with a video of the former pranking the latter on April Fool’s Day.

Jericho said playful jokes are part of their bond as family and husband and wife when he is not serving coach Jorge Gallent during the PBA Philippine Cup.

“After training, I’m just at home, relaxing with my wife and kids. I’m definitely more of a family guy. Whenever we have days off, I try to spend as much time with my kids and my wife because they’re getting older and I want to see them grow up, so I just try to be a family man.” , Cruz said.
It seems his wife and family are the perfect fuel for Jericho as he is currently averaging 14.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists in the all-Filipino conference.
He scored nine points with four assists, two steals and two rebounds to match the Beermen’s dub against Dyip to keep San Miguel’s record intact after five games.
