Billie Eilish treated himself – and the crowd – to a real treat at Coachella on Friday night… when he took the stage as a special guest to perform with his idol Lana Del Rey.
This iconic duet was a surprise to the packed audience at the festival in Indio, California — but, for Billie, it was all she could have hoped for given that Lana was a major influence on her music.

Bille suddenly came out from behind the scenes and launched straight into her song “Ocean Eyes”, with help from Lana. Next, the stars did another duet, singing Lana’s song, “Video Games.”

Towards the end, Billie spiced things up a bit, shouting her love for Lana in a defiant tone: “Get that shit out of my face!” Lana then addressed the audience, calling Billie “the voice of a generation!”
Although the artists never teamed up to make music before Friday, Billie told Interview magazine last year that Lana blazed a trail “for everyone,” changing the way others looked and sounded artists.
Meanwhile, fans of Taylor Swift I thought the pop superstar would join Lana on stage due to their previous work together, but no such collaboration happened.
Yet Swifties still believe it will happen next Friday when Lana performs with her surprise guest for Coachella Weekend 2.
