Cuba Gooding Jr. was in Miami last weekend — same location Diddy finds himself in the middle of an ongoing federal investigation… interesting considering their alleged connection.
TMZ obtained a photo of Cuba in South Beach on Easter Sunday, and as you can see… he’s alone in the back of a golf cart advertising yacht rentals, and he there are 2 strangers sitting in front.
Cuba looks relaxed in his sunglasses as he scrolls through his phone — and yes, he’s certainly dressed for a sunny, festive day in the Sunshine State.
Of course, the reason Cuba’s presence in South Florida might raise an eyebrow or two is him and Diddy. were recently named co-defendants in the lawsuit filed by Rodney Jones …a former employee of the Bad Boy mogul.
Jones had already named Cuba in his first lawsuit – alleging the man touched him inappropriately… something he later changed to claim it was an actual sexual assault.
You’ll remember… Rodney alleged that Diddy introduced him to Cuba while they were all on Diddy’s yacht, and Cuba started fondling him. Rodney claims he had to push Cuba away during the alleged encounter.
Rodney further alleged in his lawsuit that he felt Diddy left him in Cuba with the intention of passing him on to his friends in the industry.
Diddy denied all of Rodney’s claims…and some of his allegations in the lawsuit fell flat when put under the microscope.
Of course, in light of everything that happened with Diddy since that lawsuit was filed earlier this year – Cuba suddenly appearing in Miami will attract more attention than it normally would.
Now, he hasn’t been seen hanging out with Diddy in Florida at all – and FWIW, Cuba has not responded to the allegations in Rodney’s lawsuit… nor have he or his representatives/attorneys also not addressed anything related to Diddy.

Diddy himself also surfaced publicly in the wake of the raids… popping up here and there in Miami – and apparently not trying to hide, despite the federal investigation into sex trafficking.
He has denied all allegations in several civil lawsuits, and as far as the federal government is concerned, he has not been arrested or charged with any crimes.
