File this under “cheesiest question ever,” but…

What vocabulary words do you like these days?

A few years ago I learned twilightwhich seems appropriate for these dark winter days, and I said it my boys much recently to stop their histrionic.

And a funny story: I was just reading a newsletter from Pandora Sykes (the British journalist/podcaster/book genius, who we recently featured on Large Salad), and she recommended a pair of sneakers with a caveat: “They ship from the United States, which is a little complicated. “And when I read “ballache,” I pronounced it in my head as “ball-uh-shay” and Googled it to see what new vocabulary word I was learning, how much it ‘was exciting, perhaps with a similar meaning to “”palaver“, what my British relatives often say?

Guys.

It was ball pain.

Now I’m curious: what vocabulary words do you like these days? Please share!

P.S. How to create a bright homeAnd what do you like about your appearance?
