Trump and Musk double down on anti-Semitism
Donald Trump inserts so much bullshit into political discourse that people often dismiss his behavior as “Trump being Trump.” But over the past nine days, it seems to have finally reached the limits of some people’s tolerance. First, on November 11, he called his political enemies “vermin”– a move straight out of the fascist playbook – and then doubled down on his efforts last Sunday, with the anti-Semitic promise to “hunting out the globalists” in a “final battle”.
And if that wasn’t enough… What kind of idiot makes fun of Jimmy Carter when his wife is dying? Who is Trump?.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk faces immediate consequences for his bigotry. It all started on November 15, when Musk approved a message which accused “Jewish communities” of pushing “dialectical hatred against whites”. Since then, advertisers have fled en masse. The White House blasted Musk. At the same time, Missouri’s right-wing attorney general showed his partisan incompetence by succumbing to Musk.
After Musk tweeted early Saturday morning: “Split-second court opens Monday, X Corp to file thermonuclear lawsuit,” Media Matters, the target of this so-called lawsuit, said. this incredible response.
Oh, and at the time of publication (Monday evening), the promised lawsuit had yet to be filed.
