New York Times: “Mr. Trump is one of the most disciplined and undisciplined political figures in modern American history: despite all the wounds he has inflicted on himself in his public comments and erratic social media posts , he is quite rigid in delivering a repetitive message of grievance and victimhood to his followers. His goal is to turn unwanted circumstances that infuriate him into some kind of high-stakes drama that he can stage then that he and his campaign will face a whirlwind of legal proceedings in the months to come.”
“Mr. Trump, who attended much of the civil fraud trial, said Tuesday that he plans to attend the final phase of that trial as well as the Carroll trial.”
“This will require him to travel back and forth from New York to Iowa and New Hampshire to juggle days of planned campaign events. He also plans to attend arguments next week in the federal appeals court in Washington over his claims that he should be granted presidential immunity in his federal election fraud trial.
