“Santas” proclaim the birth of Jesus
Faithwire reported that in episode two of the new season of “The Father Christmases”, visible on Disney +, one of the elves of the North Pole is responsible for debriefing Santa Claus on how Christmas began.
“What we call Santa Claus, it all started with Saint Nicholas honoring the birth of Jesus,” said the elf.
Allen, who has long been known as one of the only people in Hollywood to express conservative views, said last year that his goal with “The Santas” was to put the “Christ” back into “Christmas” and Don’t forget the reason for the season.
“There were originally a lot of otherworldly characters, ghosts and goblins,” said Allen, now 70. The wrap of the series in November last year. “I said, ‘No, it’s Christ-mas. It is Christ-mas. It’s literally a religious holiday. We don’t need to blow trumpets, but I want you to recognize it; that’s what it’s about.
“If you want to step into the role of Santa Claus, you’ll have to go back to history, and it’s all about religion,” he continued.
Allen went on to say that the show’s writers found “a brilliant way” to incorporate religion into the plot.
“It is Really wonderful. They took a chance and we did it very well,” he added.

In addition to making sure Christianity was incorporated into “The Santas,” Allen took a step back when it came to planning much of the rest of the series.
“It’s a weird thing, on ‘Last Man Standing,’ I was also an EP and I knew where I wanted to go with it. And Jack Burditt was the author too, he’s with us. And it’s not easy for him or me,” Allen said. “I write, I’ve written films and I’m really the one who intrigues. So that’s kind of where I’m at. And I’m very confused with too many details.
“I need to know where we’re going at the end of This beat,” he continued. “And it took quite a bit of massaging from the Disney people and Jack to get the first chapter – which I call (this) a six-chapter book – I needed that to get this thing off the ground. Respect the latter and let’s not be too playful with him.

Allen finds God
Allen has long spoken openly about his Christian faith, although he has admitted to struggling with it in the past. He was just 11 years old when his father was killed by a drunk driver, leading him to question the idea of God for years.
“For years, I didn’t like this idea of God, of the Church,” he previously said, according to ABC News. “(I was) always a churchgoer, but constantly cynical.”
Today, however, Allen is not cynical, referring to God as “the builder.”
“I always ask…The Builder, what did you want me to do? Allen said. “And I ask for it. But you need to be prepared for the answer.
