Last month, I went to several holiday parties and, as I promised myself, I flirted with a lot of handsome men. I like good parties – the mysterious punchbowl, chips and dippeople crowding in the kitchen, talkative debriefs, and even sore feet at the end.
I mean, how fun Emilia’s strawberry platter with fruit scattered among the candles? I love this element of danger.
But the one thing I noticed at every party? Transparent black tights. They were everywhere and looked sexy in a black dress (or, really, any dress). Some were plainsome had peassome were floraland how sexy they are these?
My friend Gem also wore Wolford Tights with black Zara shorts for our friend’s birthday. She texted me this morning: “I also wore a black sweater and tall boots with a chunky heel, because they make me two inches taller but are easy to walk in (we took the subway). And underneath, because when it was hot, I wore a Nakatomi Tower Christmas Party T-Shirtbecause: Die hard!!”
Thoughts? Are you loving sheer tights right now? Any styles you would recommend? I would love to wear them with skirts and dresses to parties, dinners, dates, meetings, travel, basically anywhere this winter. xo
