Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz sent a letter to Delta CEO Ed Bastion on Friday demanding to know why the airliner is transporting illegal aliens across the country.
The Florida congressman explained that Congress wanted to know if they were potentially working with the Biden regime or with an NGO that would facilitate the boarding of illegal immigrants on their planes.
Citizen journalist Ashley St. Clair drew attention to this subject after posting videos of illegal immigrants at the Phoenix airport on Twitter (X).
Rep. Matt Gaetz on Friday asked the head of Delta Air Lines to explain why and for whom his company was transporting illegal immigrants across the country.
In a letter to Delta CEO Ed Bastion, the Fort Walton Beach Republican noted that Congress had a vested interest in knowing what “arrangements” his company might have with the Biden administration or any nongovernmental organization (NGO) that authorizes illegal immigrants to enter the south of the country. border to “book and travel” to areas in the interior of the country.
The issue came to light earlier this week when a conservative journalist Ashley St. Clair posted a video on X of illegal immigrants waiting in line at the Phoenix airport for a flight to New York. She was traveling on Delta and airline officials refused to explain what was happening.
The letter states that NGOs typically receive federal grants, meaning it is possible that taxpayer dollars could be used to fund illegal aliens traveling on U.S. planes.
“Even more alarming than American taxpayers footing the bill for transporting nonresident aliens into our communities is that they may not be properly vetted,” the member added. Republican Congress. As reported by Tampa Free Press.
One of the other major concerns was that the TSA allowed other forms of identification that would not even be admissible for a US citizen.
Congressman Gaetz wanted to know the number of illegals who have flown with Delta since Biden’s inauguration, the NGO process for obtaining boarding passes, whether Delta has obtained financial incentives and what types of parts identity illegals use and which have been approved.
Gaetz wants transparency from the airline in the interest of national security.

•How many non-resident aliens has Delta Airlines transported on behalf of non-governmental organizations since January 20, 2021?
•How do NGOs purchase or reimburse your airlines for tickets for non-resident foreigners? Are you currently receiving, or have you ever received, a reimbursement incentive, including cash, credit, or other benefits, from the federal government in exchange for transportation of nonresident aliens?
•Has TSA informed you of acceptable forms of identification for nonresident aliens to pass through airport security and board your flights? If true, what are they?
