While Meryl Streep he may have gone home empty-handed after this year’s competition Golden globesthe three-time Oscar winner always seemed to be having the most fun at the star-studded ceremony on Sunday.
The movie legend owned the red carpet like absolute royalty and made many fans smile with adorable mini reunions.
First, Streep reconnected with Amanda Seyfriend — his daughter on screen in Mama Mia! And Mama Mia! Here we go again — and she planted a big kiss on the actress’ face while posing for photos before the show.
Seyfriend’s adorable reaction to the unexpected tenderness was a true red carpet highlight.
At the ceremony, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, the heartwarming reunions continued.
Specifically, Streep posed for photos with an absolutely radiant face. Emilie Blunt — with whom Streep previously starred in The devil wears Pradaand later in Mary Poppins Returns.
The evening was also an opportunity for Streep to spend time with her fellow cast members. Only murders in the building.
The beloved actress — who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress on Television for her performance in Season 3 of Hulu’s hit crime comedy — sat at a table with Martin Short and Selena Gomez , and the trio really seemed to be having fun together.
And all that doesn’t even include the stars who came to simply bask in the icon’s radiant glory.
