They are no longer sister wives.
They’re barely friends.
Hell, at this point, Christine Brown and Meri Brown could even be considered enemies.
Shortly after Janelle and Christine agreed that they were done with Meri foreverA preview has been released of Sunday night’s Season 18 one-on-one special.
In this clip, we go back in time a bit to when Meri pointed out that Kody was no longer wearing his Claddagh ring which represented his spiritual union with her…. and replaced it with a new piece of jewelry.
When asked about the ring situation by host Sukanya Krishnan in this special, Christine alleges that Kody had actually he melted his first alliance with Meribut kept the diamonds.
When Meri asked him about it, according to Christine, Kody told his first wife that he did it because “I didn’t want (Meri) to have control over me and power over me anymore.”
After going this route, the four ladies decided to give Kody a Claddagh ring, which he Also since abandoned.
“I’m extremely frustrated right now. Beyond,” Meri confesses in the Dec. 3 episode of this tell-all Sister Wives, which is essentially one part of a multi-part reunion.
“After recording the one-on-one interviews with Suki, I discovered that a story had been told about me that was not a story I had ever shared publicly.
Meri then chokes up as she explains:
“This is my story, to tell when, where and how I want. And someone else took it upon themselves to tell this story. And now I have to talk about it. I’m not happy about it.
To his credit, Meri said she wouldn’t stay silent Longer.
It looks like we’ll see a much more outspoken Meri in Sister Wives season 19.
“It wasn’t Christine’s business to say,” Meri adds of the special.
“If I had wanted to share this story publicly over the past 13 years, I would have.”
