According to recent posts on social media, Jenelle Evans is living in denial.
Or she lives without worries.
This latter state of mind can sometimes benefit the one who holds it, except… for Jenelle Evans…
She should have at least one major care in the world.
As you probably know, Jenelle’s 14-year-old son Jace has run away from home four times in the past few weeks and is currently in the custody of child protective services.
He accused his stepfather David Eason of assault, and Eason was arrested for the alleged crime by authorities in North Carolina.
Maybe that sounds like a reason to cancel Thanksgiving?
Or, at the very least, throw a low-key party? To not post family moments on social media, given that his family is kind of in shambles right now?
And even: Evans bragged about his boat online a few days ago.
Most recently, she shared the photos above – the first of her and her two children and the second of her and Eason – via Instagram with the caption/hashtag: #HappyThanksgiving.
Yes, it is relatively harmless and, under normal circumstances, completely harmless.
However, it must be reiterated that Jenelle’s husband allegedly physically assaulted her teenage son… who Evans herself claims to have serious mental health issues.
The former Teen Mon star perhaps should have expected some backlash regarding this latest upload.
In response to the montage of photos of the Thanksgiving celebrant, one follower remarked:
“It’s a little weird that you can celebrate Thanksgiving perfectly without your eldest, but hey, live your life, queen (sic).”
This prompted Jenelle to respond as follows:
“Oh yes because you just know how people mentally feel through an image? Come on.”
The truth, of course, is that we have no idea what Jenelle Evans is thinking.
But she showed Eason some major support two weeks ago following the aforementioned claim…and following his broken collarbone a few years ago…and following Eason’s killing of the dog of the family in 2019.
“No matter where I go, I am loved by you.” wrote Jenelle on November 10focusing on herself and only herself in that moment.
“No matter where we are, you always make me laugh,” she continued.
“No matter where we are, you know how to eliminate my anxiety, no matter where you are, you don’t let anyone step on me, no matter where you are, you protect me.
“Let them say anything about us because everything will be fine.” I love you babyeeee.
