Investing.com – Israeli stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in , and sectors dragged shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the price fell 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which rose 6.70% or 1,540.00 points to trade at 24,510.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:) added 1.80% or 860.00 points to finish at 48,760.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:) was up 1.18% or 320.00 points at 27,420.00 in late trading.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which fell 3.29% or 160.00 points to trade at 4,697.00 at the close. Harel (TASE:) fell 2.56% or 76.00 points to end at 2,888.00 and Shikun and Binui (TASE:) was down 2.22% or 23.00 points at 1,011.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising stocks on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange 272 to 203, and 64 finished unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery fell 0.54% or 0.40 to $73.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for March delivery fell 0.26% or 0.21 to $78.80 a barrel, while February gold futures rose by 0.64% or 13.20 to trade at $2,064.50 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS fell 0.40% to 3.61, while EUR/ILS fell 0.35% to 3.97.
U.S. dollar index futures fell 0.12% to 101.36.
