Jacob Roloff left Little People, Big World in 2016.
Since then, he has also mostly stayed out of the spotlight.
And even:
Although he no longer films an episode of this reality show with his father, it has become clear that Jacob has developed an important bond with Matt Roloff, as evidenced in a few recent instances.
On the one hand, Jacob and his immediate family are actually move to his father’s propertyMatt told his social media followers last month.
“I live in a one-story house and when I move into the new house, Izzy and Jacob will move in where I was,” Matt explained of the two living situations amid his farmhouse renovations.
Jacob, his wife, and their little son (Mateo) have mostly lived in an RV for years… traveling the Pacific Northwest and living pretty much like nomads.
It looks like they’ll be settling down a bit soon though.
Meanwhile, The Sun published an interview with Matt’s brother Sam, an artist who will soon be exhibiting in San Francisco.
In this article, Sam says he stays in closer contact with Jacob than any other nephew or niece.
"He came here to see my house and so on, so I probably have a better relationship with Jacob than with all of them," Sam told Jacob’s Sun.
“He currently works on the farm with my son Max.
“They work at the pumpkin patch.”
Zach Roloff notably did NOT attend pumpkin season this year at Roloff Farms due to an ongoing feud with Matt.
Molly Roloff has been living a quiet life in Washington for years now and doesn’t seem particularly close to either of her parents.
Jeremy Roloff moved into his own farm last year, with his wife and three children, and seems very bitter that Matt didn’t give him a fair chance to buy his farm in the spring of 2022.
That leaves Jacob.
About three years ago, Jacob came out and said a TLC producer was assaulted him a while ago… which prompted him to leave Little People, Big World.
“It is often much easier to think about things than to talk about them, and so this disclosure has been delayed, but through this delay I have found the courage and the words,” Jacob began at the time, before to declare:
As a child, after what I now realize was a long preparation process, I was assaulted by an executive producer of “Little People, Big World,” Chris Cardamone.
Jacob went on to say that he would not share any details about this alleged encounter at any time.
Jacob continued at the time:
“By revealing this, I could be better understood and my views on issues such as child sexual abuse, child exploitation and the collateral costs of reality TV could be received more clearly.
“However, I must add that this experience has not only defined my views on any of these issues, nor my worldview in general…
“Finally, it must be emphasized that all the fault lies with the predator, and that no fault lies with any member of my family.
“I am sure that this is a positive moment for me and another step towards a better future.”
