Entertainment Tonight is an Emmy winner once again! During the 50th edition on Friday Daytime Emmy AwardsET emerged victorious in the Outstanding Entertainment News category, taking home its eighth Daytime Emmy trophy.
AND was also nominated for directing a multi-camera daytime nonfiction program at this year’s ceremony, hosted by ET Nicholas Turner And Kevin Frazier.
In addition to Turner and Frazier, Cassie DiLaura and Denny Directo are ET correspondents, while Rachel Smith is both an ET correspondent and host of Entertainment Tonight Weekend.
Erin Johnson is ET’s executive producer. Whitney Wallace and Leslie Kawaguchi are co-executive producers.
Entertainment Tonight is the world’s leading syndicated entertainment news magazine and holds the official Guinness World Records title for longest-running entertainment news television show. ET’s 43rd season premiered on September 11.
Friday’s event, which took place at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles, was originally scheduled to take place on June 16, but was postponed due to the Writers Guild of America strike. which ended in September.
