Demi Lovato only found it forever in Jutes!
On Saturday, the “Confident” singer got engaged to her musician boyfriend.
According to People, Jutes — who met Lovato during a writing session for her song “Substance,” popped the question in Los Angeles. After the “Tell Me You Love Me” singer said “I do,” the couple celebrated with family.
Lovato shows off her custom pear-shaped engagement ring in a photo of her looking into her fiancé’s eyes, while her hand rests on his chest.
Lovato and Jutes (whose real name is Jordan Lutes), both 31, began their relationship in August 2022, two years after she called off her previous engagement with Max Ehrich.
The couple made their love public in New York as they were seen walking hand in hand. In the year since their romance, the two haven’t been shy about showing off their relationship.
In March, the “Confident” singer celebrated her man’s birthday with a sweet message.
“My sweet angel, it’s officially your birthday!!! I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate you because I couldn’t be more in love with you, gorgeous, funny, sexy and talented,” Lovato wrote on Instagram .
“I’ve waited my whole life to find you and I can’t wait to celebrate so many birthdays together…you’re a dream come true and I’m so grateful to call you mine. Have the best birthday my “Love .. you deserve it, the world and more!!!! Here’s to many more 🥰🥰🖤🖤🎂🎂💫💫 I LOVE YOU 😘😘😘,” she added.
Jutes returned the favor in August, while celebrating Lovato’s birthday.
“Happy birthday to my best friend. You are obviously the most beautiful and talented person to ever do this. But more importantly, you are weird and you make me cry laughing. Your heart has changed lives all over the planet… especially some guy from a farm in Canada who found himself in your session over a year ago. I didn’t know that the perfect person existed before meeting you but now that I know, I I’m going to spend the rest of my life protecting you and doing everything I can to bring another smile and another belly laugh out of you. I couldn’t be more proud to call you my baby. I hope that you will have the best birthday ever 🖤😘 I love you @ddlovato,” he wrote.
Earlier this year, a source opened up about the couple’s romance.
“Demi and Jutes are doing great,” the source told ET at the time. “They are very much in love and just enjoying their time together. Her friends and family think Demi and Jute$ are a good couple. Jute$ wants what’s best for her and everyone sees it.”
