The devoted son suddenly becomes a monster in the eyes of fans, and probably those in the hospital room. His decision for accelerated dismissal came too early for Guest rooms the viewers.

Eric Forrester (John McCook) remained unresponsive while his family members said goodbye one by one. Then Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) signaled Finn to press that button. But the fluttering of Eric’s eyes stopped John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Finn heard the excited voices of those in the room this week. Bold and beautiful. They witnessed what looked like a slight response from Eric.
So, did Eric hear Ridge’s speech? implementation plan, with everyone taking turns saying goodbye? Maybe that’s what made his eyes flutter.
Everyone in the room took this as a sign that the Forrester patriarch was holding his own. But maybe not Ridge. It appears that Eric Forrester tried to let his family members know that he was still with them.

Bold and beautiful I left a clue even before Ridge Forrester motioned for Finn to press the button that would end Eric Forrester’s life. Too many people were missing from his bedside for this to be the Forrester patriarch’s final scene.
Ridge seemed so eager to do the deed that he didn’t get any further with the notifications than the select few in the room. They are the only people who had the chance to say so many things to Eric.
We agree that Ridge has a medical power of attorney and that he carries Eric’s wishes but he is already acting too quickly & he is not calling his brothers and sisters who should be there

But what about his other children and grandchildren? Bold and beautiful fans saw this as a selfish act on Ridge’s part. Even if he let his father go to respect his wishes, why the urgency?
Of course, Ridge talked a good game, recalling Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) of Eric’s wishes. He mentioned how Eric said he didn’t want it experimental treatment or to stay alive using machines. But now it seems like Ridge Forrester is in a huge hurry to get the show on the road.

Sometimes people wake up from a coma remembering what their loved ones told them. But at the time, they were unable to move a single muscle to respond. So maybe that’s it Guest rooms has in store for Eric Forrester.
It is possible that this urgency to unplug Eric was enough to stir it to consciousness, if only for a second or two.
Now that Ridge’s family has seen this spark of life surface, Ridge Forrester will likely have a battle on his hands this week. Bold and beautiful.
Eric Forrester may not make it right away. So the family is probably fighting to keep Ridge from pulling the plug.
Or the inflexible son might stand his ground and insist on pulling the plug on his father. But that does not mean Eric must die. He might still have enough strength to intervene alone.
B&B Spoilers: Anger at Elite Gathering?
When other family members learn of the goodbyes interrupted by a chosen few, feathers are likely to be ruffled. How dare Ridge Forrester decide to pull the plug Eric Forrester without letting his other loved ones say goodbye to him.
So, it looks like Eric still has some life left in him. Love glory and beauty. And now that his family sees this, they probably see Ridge as the ogre who was willing to let him go so quickly.
Plus, if Eric Forrester wakes up, he might look at his son a little differently after trying to expedite his firing. Or he could be the one to save his son from persecution by insisting that Ridge Forrester I was just following his wishes on the CBS soap opera.
