In Friday’s cliffhanger, it looks like he’s being greeted by loved ones who died before him. This includes his late wife, Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) who tries to guide him to the others waiting for him.
But it could still come together next week and come back to life. But then he could fall into the worst case scenario that Ridge Forrester was trying so hard to avoid.

Eric Forrester (John McCook) barely held on to life as Finn and Brigitte Forrester (Ashley Jones) rushed to bring him back. John Finnegan(Tanner Novlan)’s cutting-edge treatment ends up saving Eric, but he didn’t come out woods again.
Once he recovers, Bold and beautiful looks like he’s about to give up and die. The late Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) is there in spirit to guide Eric to the light. So, is this Eric’s final scene? Probably not, because it opens up a whole new avenue for drama.
One of these final scenes will surely be his last at some point. But maybe not yet, although the fact that his late wife was attracted to him seemed pretty convincing.
As Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) feared last week on Bold and beautiful, his father might come back as someone his family doesn’t recognize. This is the second time Ridge has spoken about it. after treatment has been presented. So it looks like Guest rooms might attempt to prepare viewers for a changed Eric Forrester.

Ridge Forrester’s biggest worry was when this treatment was carried out, Eric Forrester could come out compromised. His son feared that if he came back to them, he wouldn’t look at all like the man they know and love. Bold and beautiful.
It was important to Ridge that Eric ended his life with his dignity still intact. So, if his late wife can’t persuade him to make the trip with her, what can he do? Bold and beautiful fans expect it?
Of course, the soap opera could play many touch scenes with Eric Forrester in this hospital bed. They could also bring it back and make it even better than before. Of course, this could also be his last goodbye Guest rooms.

This would be fun, especially if we tell everyone to track their mindset for their health. Why not, they kept his death a secret. Maybe it would be fun to see everyone pretend Brooke is still his. Far-fetched, yes, but not too far-fetched for this CBS soap opera.
