The Qatari Foreign Ministry announced that a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas would come into effect tomorrow morning (Friday) at 7 a.m. and that at 4 p.m. Israel would receive the first thirteen hostages released by Hamas. Mossad, Israel’s intelligence and special operations agency, has received a list of the names of all the hostages who will be released.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that during the four-day ceasefire, the names of the remaining hostages will be transmitted to Israel and an increased amount of humanitarian aid will be delivered to the Gaza strip. According to the spokesperson, the objective of the hostage-taking is to achieve a general ceasefire.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today in Jerusalem with Prime Ministers Pedro Sanchez of Spain and Alexander de Cro of Belgium, as well as British Foreign Minister David Cameron. Sanchez proposed holding an international peace conference with a view to creating a viable Palestinian state.
Reuters reports that Cameron, who visited Kibbutz Beeri near the Gaza border, one of the places hardest hit by the Hamas attack on October 7, told Netanyahu: “I wanted to come here in no one… to see the true nature of the situation. in the face of the horrible attacks that you have faced, I think it is very important to do this and to see that, we stand with the people of Israel. “There is no hope of peace between Israel and the Palestinians, between Israel and the Arab states, if we do not eradicate this murderous movement that threatens the future of us all,” Netanyahu responded.
